Inteliska software supports full Marathi input using Windows' built-in Marathi Phonetic keyboard (the easiest method – type English letters like "namaste" and get नमस्ते suggestions).
No extra software download is needed – just enable it in Windows Settings. Follow the steps in Question 2.
Follow these simple steps (takes 2–5 minutes, needs internet once for dictionary download):
Press Win + I to open Settings.
Go to Time & Language → Language & region (or just Language in some views).
Under Preferred languages, click + Add a language.
Search for and select Marathi (मराठी) → click Next → Install (downloads language pack).
Once added, click on Marathi in the list → Language options.
In the Keyboards section, click Add a keyboard.
Choose Marathi Phonetic from the list (it may download a small dictionary file automatically).
Done! Switch keyboards anytime with Win + Space.
Type English phonetically (e.g., "swagat", "kaam", "doctor") → select Marathi suggestion with Space or number keys.
Tip: First time you use it, wait 10–30 seconds if a "downloading dictionary" message appears.
We no longer add Marathi language/keyboard automatically during installation to keep the setup simple, fast, and compatible with all Windows editions (including Home Single Language). Marathi Phonetic is a standard Windows feature – enabling it manually ensures it works perfectly with future Windows updates.
Yes – once enabled in Windows, it works system-wide (anywhere you can type text).
